Accessories designer, Sonali Dalwani established her accessory design label Crimzon in 2003. Two months ago the store found a new home in Juhu. It is situated on the main road but can easily be missed if you’re not looking for it.
Crimzon has a variety of bright and bold accessories such as sandals, bags, belts and jewellery. On entering you will notice that this store is not for shy girls but for bold divas. The shelves are covered in bright coloured chunky neckpieces (`2,500 onwards) made from semi-precious stones and footwear such as ballet flats (`2,500), wedges (`4,000) and dainty gold sandals (`2,200). Crimzon also has a wide collection of bags in fun and cheerful colours. The clutches (`4,000) come in a variety of shapes and designs. They also have pretty embellishments on them making them a must-have for a night out. The bowler bags (`3,500) are great for daily use and are big enough to carry all your essentials.
Most of the items at the store are chic and great for a wedding or party. But, we found the wedges a little too simple in comparison to the rest of the collection.
The chunky neckpieces are quirky and will dress up even the dullest of clothes instantly. But, what really caught our eyes were the clutches. The clutches come in vibrant colours with embellishments and can be carried with Indian as well as western outfits. Keep an eye out for the snake print clutch.
The collection at the store changes every four months and if you visit the store before August 28, you can avail of their 20% discount on everything except their neckpieces. We’re definitely going back for their gorgeous clutches and bags.
