You will be captivated and mesmerised by dance performances from across the globe, says Sunny Rodricks, talking about NCPA’s new dance festival, Spectrum

The NCPA is hosting a dance festival, Spectrum, which will showcase different dance forms from across the globe over the course of two days. Ace dancer Sandip Soparrkar, along with his troupe, will present an interactive and educational session on the different ballroom forms such as the Waltz, Foxtrot, Viennese waltz, Quickstep as well as Latin American forms such as Rumba, Samba, Cha Cha and Jive. Also at the dance festival will be Urban Hip-Hop and Jazz, showcased by Ashley Lobo and his dance company, The Danceworx. The focus of the festival is the history and background of different dance forms from around the world, and it will feature mesmerising performances by Aditi Deshpande (Aerial Silk) and Shehzeen Cassum (Namaste Flamenco).
