Those of you who love blues music and wish there was an avenue for it in the city, will love the event at Mehboob Studios this weekend. The Mahindra Group is presenting the second year of the prestigious blues festival, with another opportunity in place for you to treat yourself to a host of great global blues. Artists performing at the event include Grammy award winner Buddy Guy with special guest Robert Randolph, the Taj Mahal Trio, John Lee Hooker Jr, Soulmate and Ana Popovic.
The festival will include soulful performances in true blues style, insightful workshops, enlightening talks and lots more, giving you the chance to witness the best international stars in the blues industry as well as Indian greats.
Held over the weekend, the festival has a brand new line-up this year and will even have multiple concerts as well as sessions with artists and a blues-like atmosphere at the venue. They will have two mega stages and will have post show parties as well as breakfast sessions and lunches with the artists, available on a first-come-first-serve-basis. The Oranjuice Entertainment promoted event promises to be a one-of-a-kind experience.
