Website Review: Little Tags

Taking children’s style to a fashionable new level, Aakriti Patni browses through Little Tags to check out this luxury website

We’ve all been smitten with princess dresses and little denim dungarees that we wish to dress our young tots in. Our hearts have melted at the site of the squishy soft baby shoes, and we can admit to having splurged on baby clothes that our young ones grew out of faster than we could buy them! As delightful as shopping for children is, it’s tiresome and strenuous even without having to put your child through the ordeal of trying on hordes of clothing. But, the world of e-commerce has bought us some relief, as with a click of a button we can order and return clothes from the comfort of our own home. We browse through a new player in the market to see whether it lives up to our expectations.

Surfing the net

A luxury retail website like no other, Little Tags houses high-end designer products for children. Redefining not only the fashion norms for children, but also stepping up its game in terms of a luxury online store, Little Tags partners with luxury designer labels and features a wide collection of products.  Going above and beyond the usual, Little Tags has an extensive collection of children’s wear — not just dresses and shorts, but a traditional and sportswear clothing range, as well as swimwear and nightwear.

Foraying into the spectrum of couture fashion, they have joined hands with the most celebrated luxury labels such as Masaba Gupta, Shivan & Narresh, Monisha Jaising, Rina Dhaka, Pallavi Mohan, and many more well-known names from the fashion industry. Apart from these Indian designers, eminent Turkish designer Ebru Danyal is also on board.

Building on passion

A couture connoisseur and a multi-tasking mother, founder Chandini Agarwal brings together her personal style, vision and passion for high-end fashion through Little Tags. Speaking to us about the website, she says, “I decided to venture into this space to have stylish, well-made and luxury clothes for children available on one platform. With the rising purchasing power and changing tastes of the consumer, it’s not just the adults and millennials who want to bank on luxury; but parents too want nothing less than premium fashion for their children. Little Tags offers them the convenience to shop with a click and browse through the latest collections that are making a splash in India and internationally.”

Behind the scenes

Colourful and playful, vibrant designs, chic styles and tasteful elegance are what define the website and its collections. Little Tags appears to have surpassed technical glitches that plague other new sites and with an easy-to-navigate website and friendly interface, their warm and soothing colours are sure to charm you. What we found interesting was their look book. Quick and easy, with a click of a button, you can buy an entire outfit for your child.

In terms of flexibility of clothing sizes, delivery and returns, their collections are sized according to age groups and they have a worldwide shipping service. But, despite scouring through their website, we couldn’t seem to find information on their return policy.

Shop at www.littletags.com for clothing for your little ones.
