Salman's classic mimicking of Dharmendra

That original 'He-man', Dharmendra shares a warm bonding with 'macho-man' Salman Khan is a known fact. But what will now amuse and startle viewers is Salman doing a classy mimic (take-off) on Dharm-paaji's 'adbhut' style of freestyle dancing, in the star-studded medley song 'Raafta Raafta' video from the Deol parivaar movie 'Yamla Pagla Deewana – Phir Se'. Incidentally the recreated dance-song also has Shatrughan 'khaamosh' Sinha, Sonakshi 'Dabangg' Sinha, Rekha and of course the Deol siblings Sunny and Bobby.

Taking a dig at himself, Dharmendra opens up, “Although I have been a versatile movie actor excelling in romance, action and spontaneous comedy scenes, when it comes to dance I have my own set of crazy rules. The dance-masters would often have a tough time because I would end up dancing my own original style with extra steps. If they wanted retakes, I would find it difficult to repeat my own steps. But yet I call myself the No. 1 dancer,” chuckles the veteran yet evergreen star, cast as a lawyer in 'YPD – PS'. He also speaks a few phrases in Gujarati which is bound to have a hilarious impact.

“Honestly, I am into movies not for money or for fame. For me, my acting profession is like my loyal beloved sweetheart. By nature I am extremely emotional and believe in 'love-begets-love',” insists the poetic Dharam-paaji, who proposes to soon come out with a video-cum-book of his 'shaayri-nazm'.
