How does it feel to have three films in the Rs.100 crore club? I feel great that the audiences have appreciated me in my comic avatar and have been instrumental in making them laugh. How was the experience of working with directors like Sajid Khan and Rohit Shetty? It has been a great experience and I try to learn more by observing what’s happening on the sets. As I am doing with my next two films ‘Kamaal Dhammal Malammal’ directed by Priyan Sir and ‘Joker’ with Shirish Kunder. Do you regret not getting solo lead roles? I am happy with what roles I am getting and what I have done in films like ‘Help’ ‘Aage SE Right ‘,‘Click’, ‘Welcome to Sajjanpur’ ‘Hum Tum Aur Shabana’ and ‘Will you Marry Me?’ Will you be a part of Farah Khan’s next film? It was great to work with her in ‘Om Shanti Om’ and if she casts me in her film I will be more than happy to work with her. You started with Marathi Theatre and TV shows and then later graduated to Marathi films? Would you like to work in Marathi films? If I get a good script like ‘Sanai Chougade’ which I produced with Mukta Arts and Subhash Ghai I will definitely do Marathi films. Directors on your wish list… I will work with any director if I get a good script and a good role. Do you have any role models or inspirations? I would like to have a film master like Amitabh Bachchan.
