
At the colours 2012 show at the Coomarswamy Hall Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sanghralaya (formerly Prince of Wales Museum), there is the best of various schools of art, a multitude of styles, mediums and talent from across India and beyond. The exhibition is curated by Sunil Chauhan. There are over 60 contemporary artists of India who are showing their works at the exhibition which begins to day and go on till February 26.
Sunil Chauhan: “Art world has been going through a drastic change over the last few years and among art lovers, there is more art awareness and also a need to acquire good art. We intend to show the best works so that connoisseurs will have a wide choice to pick from.”
The curator says to ensure that the best works are out the show, he has collaborated with many galleries and also renowned art collector Pervez Damania. His collection of masters is unique and will be a visual treat for art lovers.
The exhibition will be at Museum art gallery till 26th Feb. From 27th Feb. it will be at Artland gallery till March 8.
