All emerging talented artists can now showcase their works – free of cost – at an art gallery in Juhu. Three young entrepreneurs have started Art by Appointment (ABA). The ABA will also display old masters like Husain, Raza and others. The first exhibition is titled “Nibiru will also pass” – and it will display the works of Amisha Mehta and veteran painter Prakash bal Joshi.
The first exhibition will go on till January 30. The ABA will be handling three galleries moe in the coming months – at Bandra and Andheri.
Amisha Mehta, a Mumbai-based artist has also been working with colour therapy, always feels that colour is an important means of self portrayal and expression. Prakash Bal Joshi feels a mysterious spiritual connect with rivers – something that seems to stem from his childhood tryst with swimming in a river which almost ended in his drowning. Thus he evocatively uses river as a visual metaphonism in his works to portray the flow of life.
