Anindo Ghosh, a Mumbai-based photographer is exhibiting a selection of fine art photography on the theme ‘Urban fragments”.
A common thread in Anindo’s photography is an attempt to highlight how people often look, but do not see. Every image engages the viewer, revealing interesting and obscure detail. His images show the work from unusual angles or unique viewpoints – ensuing that the viewer sees that which has not been seen or been noticed before.
Anindo’s passion and special skills are in the highly challenging areas of night photography and location work.
In the exhibition, there are images that dmenad a second look, images that provoke thought or excite perception: Fine art images expressing the artist’s distinctive style and vision, of glimpses every citizen has seen, but perhaps not noticed. The exhibition is at Hirji Gallery at Kala Ghoda. Contact: 9820642494. The exhibition ends on June 18.
