In association with Bookwallah Organization, the U.S. Marines hosted ‘Toys for Tots’ program with around 35-40 underprivileged children at the U.S. Consulate at the Bandra-Kurla Complex. The U.S. Marines, in their uniform, interacted and mingled with the children and presented them with gifts, books and read to them.
‘Toys for Tots’ is a U.S. Marine Corps tradition, founded in 1947 by a group of Marine reservists wherein a program serves underprivileged children across the United States and around the world.
