KDMC plans to disconnect water supply for employees who fail to pay Property Tax

The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) is setting an example in the twin-city by examining the ‘unpaid’ property assessment taxes of their own employees.

The source from the property tax assessment department of KDMC revealed that if an employee is found have unpaid dues, the water supply to the said individuals home shall be disconnected.

The source said, “The department has started the inspections. If any KDMC employee has unpaid tax amounts, an example will be set by disconnecting water supply to their residence.”
