Aday after taking custody of LeT militant Parvez Iqbal Tak, Mumbai’s crime branch on Tuesday recovered six human skeletons from Igatpuri in Nashik, from the backyard of starlet Laila Khan’s farmhouse, informed sources in the crime branch. Presently, it cannot be said whether the recovered skeletons are of actress Laila or any of her family members, said police, adding that the skeletons would be sent to the state Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Kalina to ascertain the fact.
"The last known location of six people – Laila, her mother Shelina (50), sister Hazima, twin siblings Zara and Imran, and another relative Tilu – was Igatpuri,” said police.
The starlet and her family went missing in February 2011.
According to the complaint, Tak and his accomplice Asif kidnapped Laila and others.
