Cultural Fest–‘Astitva 2K17’
Grant Medical College, Mumbai and NGO Humanitarian Welfare & Research Foundation have joined hands to present its dynamic and vibrant Youth Cultural Festival – ‘Astitva 2017’, wherein singer Ankit Tiwari gave a live concert. The one of its kind biggest cultural fest plays host to about 5,000 students from across geographies will be spread over a period of 4 days at the College Gymkhana, Mumbai. 15 different events, dozens of workshops and music concerts for the young populace all are part of the fare! ODE TO THE HILLS @ ARTISTS' CENTRE
Head over and take a look at Artist Jyotsna Kadam's work on display. Jyotsna’s quests led her to paint the five elements of Nature, the panchatatvas, akash (sky), vayu (air), jal (water), agni (fire) and prithvi (earth). Her treks to Leh, Ladakh and Spiti valley have been both inspirational and cathartic, broadening the artist’s painterly vision. She admits to have spent the most memorable moments of her life gazing at the Himalayas sans the cloaks of snow, soaking in the ephemeral light, stark colors and multifarious textures, returning, energized, to the humdrums of city life to translate the sublime experience onto the canvas.
