Finally justice delivered for Divya Dholay!

Justice has finally been delivered after BJP's Mumbai Secretary Divya Dholay complained against the Dharavi Assembly President, who was accused for using foul language against her. Mani Balan has been expelled from the party and post by the party's top brass.

After the Dharavi police's action against the Mani Balan, registering an FIR and arresting him, finally the Mumbai BJP President Ashish Shelar has taken action and issued a letter to Divya Dholay in which it is mentioned that after her complaint a thorough investigation was done due to which Mani was expelled from the party.

Talking to ADC BJP-Secretary (Mumbai), Divya Dholay, said: ''Yes, it is true justice has been delivered. I am happy of the action taken by top brass of the party. I know justice can be delayed but not denied in BJP. In this party women are getting justice and after this step actual justice has been delivered.''

Divya Dholay approached top officials of BJP Mumbai, including Sunil Karjatkar, and revealed everything before demanding that Mani be expelled from the party like former Mumbai Yuva Morcha leader, Ganesh Pandey, was expelled after he was accused of sexual harassment.

On Tuesday Mani Balan will appear before the police. A group of women took out a morcha against him to the Dharavi police station. They were seen pelting shoes on Mani's picture. Dholay had said earlier that she will approach the higher authorities to demand that Mani be booked in other sections as well including Scheduled Castes and Tribes Act.

Divya Dholay lodged the FIR against Balan in the Dharavi police station on Saturday for insulting her and using defamatory words against her. The FIR was registered on the basis of an audio clip in which Mani was heard talking over the phone with another local BJP party worker, Asgar Sheikh, in a two- minute audio.
An FIR under Section 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 500 (Punishment for defamation) was registered against Mani.
