
The Mumbai police officers play a vital role in the lives of every Mumbaikar, and are the people who work round the clock for their safety. In the past week, Mumbai police officers were seen at the Kala Ghoda festival presenting their creativity and art to visitors. Officers, from various parts of Mumbai, participated in the Kala Ghoda festival. The police team had their stalls put up to exhibit their work.
To encourage them, the Mumbai Police commissioner, Dattatray Padsalgikar paid a visit to the iconic festival, on Thursday. Those present at the time of his visit said that Padsalgikar was highly impressed by the work of his police force, that was on display.
At these stalls, Assistant Photographer Sanket Rathod, Sanjay Sawant, Vikas Lawande, Anil Mohite, Ankush Dhupkar and Ramesh Chopde presented their photos. The work that also included paintings by the Mumbai police team, was widely appreciated by the people. A lot of Mumbaikars were fascinated to visit the stalls as it is a rare occurrence for Mumbaikars to see the lighter and creative side of their city's police force.
