PARSI NEW YEAR - Entertainment at its best on Pateti and Parsi New Year

Saturday, August 11, 2012

Few people enjoy themselves as thoroughly as Parsis during their festivities, and this year is no different

Pateti (August 17) and Parsi New Year (August 18) are incomplete without its fair share of entertainment, be it movies or plays. Entertain your family and friends with movies at Eros, Sterling, New Empire, New Excelsior and Regal or at Multiplexes like Inox, Metro and other suburban theatres before dinner or matinee shows on these days. Our ‘Bawis’ and ‘Bawajis’ and some of our youngsters would love to watch Parsi-Gujarati plays enacted by veterans in this field, so they would be delighted to go to Tata Theatre, Birla, Tejpal or at Sophia Bhabha Auditorium. Your guide to entertainment is spread out by SHERNAZ & BAJI AVARI, with a request to check cinema halls/ theatres, where they are being played along with show timings which are subject to change.
