Actor Priyadarshan Jadhav’s new play ‘Susaat’ starring himself and directed by him and produced by Abhijeet Satam  is a funny play about a man and his wife going on a train journey and what all the escapades they face albeit in a funny manner. The play is written by Ajit Deshmukh and the highlight of the play is the art direction by Meera Velankar who will introduce moving trains on the stage for the first time. The play also stars: Gauri Sukhtankar, Poornima Ahire,   Sushil Inamdar, Prabhakar More among others. The music is by Hrishikesh Kamerkar.

The love story of Marathi movie 'Slambook' is based in the early 2000’s – the age of landlines. The concept of Slambooks was at its peak in the early 2000s for teenagers. Director, Ruturaj Dhalgade has portrayed this story with new teenage actors – Shantanu Rangnekar and Ritika Shrotri. The film release's on August 21, 2015. The film is produced by Surekha Dhalgade, Ruturaj Dhalgade and co-produced by Rohit Mhatre. The cast of the movie includes renowned actors like Dilip Prabhavalkar, Usha Nadkarni, Mangesh Desai, Madhavi Soman, Kushal Badrike, Supriya Pathare, Abhijeet Chavan, Yogesh Shirsat, Shruti Marathe. The romantic musical has been composed by Shubhankar and the lyrics have been co-written by Vishal Rane and Spruha Joshi. Actress Shruti Marathe has dazzled the screen on a Ganpati song, sung by Vaishali Samant and written by Vishal Rane.

Prahlad Kudtarkar is back with one more drama- 'Veer Daudale Saatach'. The play will have its inauguratory show on August 21. The play is produced by Rudra Theatres. The play is written by Rishikesh Koli. Onkar Bhajane, Ajay Kamble, Abhishek Gavkar, Sanjay Jamkhandi, Bhagyasree Pane, Santosh Sarode, Priyanka Hande, Ketan Salvi and Snehal Shidam will be starring in this youth centeric play. The play revolves around a Marathi school where a History teacher decides to stage a historical play with the help of some students. These students are not very proficient in the subject and that leads to many funny situations. What happens in an inter-school drama competition will be seen on the stage. Nitin Naik will be the narrator.

Stars Of indian Clasical Music including Tabla legend Pandit Kumar Bose , Flute Genius Pandit Ronu Mujumdar , Young Ghatam Player Giridhar Udupa and Eminent Vocalist Devaki are coming together to perform at 'Rivaaj', a unique classical music concert at the Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai here on Friday August 21, 2015 at 7.00 pm.

'Sargam' to feature Gwalior gharana singer and writer Pandit Amarendra Dhaneshwar at Vile Parle Mahila Sangh Hall at Vile Parle (E) on Sunday, August 30 at 4.30 pm-7.30pm. He will present 'Raagdari and Mukesh', a listening session with actual song and raga demonstrations. The purpose of the programme is to show the raga element in the popular songs sung by Mukesh. Television actor Rashmi Phanse will compere the programme. It is open to all music lovers.

Dilrang Sufi musicians (Vajahat Khan &Group) are going to participate in the International Music Festival, Saharq Taronalari Samarqand (Uzbekistan) the festival dates are August 25 to August 31, 2015. Its a Sufi Concert and Dilrang Sufi musicians (Vajahat Khan and Group) are representing India besides 50 other countries participating in the from all over the world. They will present Sufi Naghmas in the festival. Most of the compositions will be traditional but few of them composed by Vajahat will be in  Persian, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and Bhojpuri Songs and Poetry of Hazrat Amir Khusrau, Maulana Romi, Hazarat Jaami, Hazrat Raaz Niazi, Baba Bhulle Shah, and Hazrat Bedam Warsi. The names of my musicians are: Hyder Abbas (Harmonium) Lokesh Gandharva (Tabla) Ravindra Panchal (Keyboard) and Lalit Rathod (Dholak and Side Rhythm).
