Classicool concert
Mumbai's music buffs will have a unique experience of listening to a unique musical evening called ‘Classicool’, on Thursday December 28, at the Nehru Centre, Worli, at 7.30 pm. Versatile singer Javed Ali and Taufiq Qureshi (percussion) will perform with a group of extremely talented musicians namely Purbayan Chatterjee (sitar), Ojas Adhiya (tabla), Sangeet Haldipur (keyboard) and Rhythm Shaw (bass guitar).

Teenage love-story
Producer-director Ravi Jadhav has come out with a new Marathi film 'Yantam', a teenage love story. It is directed by Sameer Asha Patil and it is slated to be released on February 2, 2018 throughout the state. The film stars Sayaji Shinde, with many newcomers. The story, screenplay and dialogues are written by Sameer and Mehul Aghaja, with music by Chinar-Mahesh.

Suhani’s Magic show
Suhani Shah (23) is on Mumbai tour till December 30. In this 'Stand – Up Magic' show, she will mesmerise viewers with her vivid magic gimmicks like hypnosis, visual effects, mind reading and also revelation of secret from anyone’s past through patrons. She is also an expert at performing magic blindfolded. These magic shows have been organised at Shivaji Mandir, Dadar, today and tomorrow at 8.30 pm; at the Dinanath Theatre, Vile Parle, on Friday at 8.30 pm; and at the Kalidas Theatre on Saturday, 8.30 pm.

‘Loose Control’ music launched
The music of the Marathi film 'Loose Control', which revolves around day to day events in the life of three friends pursuing engineering, was recently launched at the hands of  Bollywood actress Amisha Patel. It is directed by Ajay Singh. Other cast credits include Madhura Naik, Akshay Mhatre, Manmit Prem, Shashikant Kerkar, Kushal Badrike, Shashank Shende, Bhalchandra Kadam, Aarti Solanki, Bunty Chopra, Namrata Awate and Prajakta Hanamgar, among others that essay important roles. On the occasion, music director Rohit Nagbhide felicitated members of the 80-year-old Pune-based 'Prabhat Band'.

‘Chitthi’ to release soon
Marathi romantic film 'Chitthi' will be released all over on January 19, 2018. Directed by Vaibhav Dange, the film is based on a interaction between a couple in love. The letter sent by a lover to his sweetheart doesn’t reach her and leads to a lot of confusion. The film presents Dhanashri Kadgaonkar and Shubhamkar Ekbote, a fresh hero-heroine duo. It also carries some of the scenes of the Hindi film 'Dilwale' from the nineties. Ashwini Giri, Nagesh Bhosale, Akshay Taksale, Srikant Yadav and Rajesh Bhosale are also essaying important roles in the film.

Marital realities
The shooting of Marathi feature film 'Mrs Deshmukh', based on institution of marriage and the delicate relationship between a bride and groom, is underway. The film seeks to unfolds that although the marriage is basically a union of two souls, a bond exists between the two families who participate in different traditional ceremonies. The film directed by Raju Jadhav also touches upon practical reality and different views of the bride and groom is. The other credits: Music- Ameya Nare and Sajan Patel. Cast: Nayana Apte, Vijay Patkar, Yatin Karyekar, Kamlesh Sawant, Bharat Ganeshpuree, Madhav Abhyankar, Milind Dastane, Rajashri Nikam, Viraj Daga and Deepali Sathe.
