Act fast else you may regret
'Aamhi Doghi', as the name depicts, is the story of two girls who are of  different mindsets and are yet inseparable, even though they follow diverse paths with the same goal. The story is about Amala, played by Mukta Barve, and Savitri played by Priya Bapat. It is the first time ever the two talented actresses are acting together in main roles in a Marathi movie. Pratima Joshi makes her directional debut with this movie. While Mukta Barve presents the character of a wife with a rural background who is unaccustomed to the urban life, Priya Bapat, unlike her other roles, plays a very unusual character, that too in different looks representing three different ages.  “Act quickly as it comes to mind or else you end up regretting,” is the philosophy Savitri represents in her life.
