Manasi Scott is relaxing in Europe

Wednesday, September 12, 2018

While we were browsing through Facebook we noticed that our friend and singer Manasi Scott is taking some time off to chill on a European sojourn. When we contacted her Manasi said: “I am in Brussels at the moment which is the second stop on our trip. We’ve just completed our stay in Bruges (a municipality in the northwestern part of Belgium, known as the ‘city of canals’). We lucked out on a beautiful boutique hotel called ‘The Pand’ and experienced an incredible meal at ‘Reliva’ restaurant. After Brussels we fly to Vienna where a whole lot of things are happening. After Vienna we go to Hallstatt (a small village situated in Austria’s mountainous region) then to Prague, followed by Zurich to meet some friends and then back to Mumbai. It’s just been the start of the trip so I can’t comment much but if I had to choose between Brussels and Bruges, it would definitely be Bruges.” Incidentally we noticed some social media posts by Manasi which are telling of her state of mind at the moment. One is a quote by Atticus which reads: “She conquered her demons and wore her scars like wings.” The other is a quote by American poet Rune Lazuli which goes: “I do not wish to be light nor do I wish to be dark. I wish to bloom mercilessly in between.” We do think that Manasi is blooming right now, and how!
