Criminals get amnesty

Thursday, February 08, 2018

IT took quite a long time for Mehbooba Mufti to form the government in Kashmir after making an alliance with the BJP. She knew that when it came to governance, she would have differences with her ally. The ally cannot possibly support Mufti's support for amnesty to the stone pelters. It is a well-known fact that Pakistan gives money to them.

There are ‘dalals’ who are bringing the money from Pakistan and distribute it among the stone pelters. Mehbooba cannot be unaware of what is going on. Mehbooba thinks they are unemployed youth and they deserve the money.

The innocent stone pelters throw big stones — some of them quite pointedand can cause serious injuries. Quite a few Indian army men have been injured. And Mehbooba has declared amnesty and released them all.

The stone pelters began their work and the Indian army held them again. And Mehbooba has once again declared amnesty. Mehbooba does not seem to be bothered by the Indian government or the Indian army. She thinks the Indian army is guilty of holding the stone pelters. She has declared amnesty for them once again.

The Indian army does not get permission of the state government to shoot whenever it wants. It is an authority by itself also.
