I have always wondered and thought about how my tomorrow is going to be, how the world’s tomorrow is going to be and the thoughts that come to my mind are fairly unbelievable. Some say our tomorrow will be much brighter than our yesterday. It will be much more technologically advanced, and will in some way or the other make this world a better place to live in. My thoughts about tomorrow are more or less optimistic in nature.
How will the world become a better place to live in? A simple question, but has a very difficult answer. The need of the hour is to take adequate care of our environment. In each and every sphere of development, we need to become more and more environment conscious. Technology, infrastructure, economy, and healthcare need to follow development that meets the needs of the present generations, without destructing the ability of the future generations to meet their own needs. Today, technology has become smarter ranging from cell phones to televisions. A day will come when surgeries and medical operations will be done by machines only, when cars will drive on their own, when our lives will become much easier and less hectic to live.
The future holds a free world, a world where one's rights are not restricted, where poverty is alleviated and equality is in its complete existence. A world where discrimination and corruption is abolished and where the significance of borders and boundaries is diminished. At present, the future remains a dream, for that dream to be realized, a lot has to be done and a lot has to be undone. And yet there is a grim side to all of it. If we continue with the attitude that we have towards the problems that others are facing, that nature itself is facing, then we prove ourselves wrong in calling ourselves an advanced human race. When we can't take care of what has been given to us in the present, what hope do we have in the future? Let's take that small step, a step that entire mankind has to take to ensure a future we dream and hope of can become reality. The future in which we and our coming generations will live.
