MTGF’s ‘Micro Innovation League’

MicroTech Global Foundation (MTGF), a non-profit organisation engaged in the promotion of the welfare of the citizens of India announced on May 11, 2012 that it will be hosting ‘Micro Innovation League’ (MIL) which commenced on May 11 and will culminate with a grand show on August 15, 2012.

MIL‘s aim is to bring awareness among the people of the technological advances in the country and motivate younger generations in particular to participate in the joys of technological innovations.

The main objective of MIL is to reach out to budding technologists and reward them for their creative skills in their areas of specialiation.

Unveiling the plans for the launch of MIL,  A. R. Kale, Director   MTGF said, “Micro Innovation  League  is  an ideal launchpad for those desirous of developing innovative ideas. MTGF is keen to assist any student with a good idea and help him/her unlock the talent.”

An exhibition on technology and innovation featuring models of students selected from various districts and zones on ‘Information Technology’ (Embedded or Hardware), ‘Security Based Technology’  and  ‘Mobile  Based Technology’ will be showcased at the venue. Quiz contests on these subjects are also being planned.
The MIL contest is open to Indian citizens who are enrolled as students in a full-time/part time Engineering/Technology/Technical College or Institute in India.

Interested students can visit www.microfoundation.net and download applications for participation in the event. The registration is kept open from 0900 hrs on May 11, 2012 to 2100hrs on June 11, 2012.
