I am in third year of BSc. But I like Aviation. So, is it possible to do Aviation after completing my BSc - Physics course? What are various areas I can work in and how do I apply for jobs?
—Santosh Shende

Aviation has a vast spectrum of functions. To name a few: Pilot, Cabin Crew, Accounts, Administration, Human Resource, Security, Air Traffic Control, Audit, IT, Security, Telecommunications, Engineering Department, Maintenance, Hospitality, House-Keeping, Cargo and so on. It would be better if you could identify the profile that you are keen on taking up. You can apply whenever there is a recruitment drive in any particular airport or airlines. Keep a track of recruitment ads, apply online or you can also apply directly with the relevant qualifications.

I am interested in pursuing a career in IT. Is it compulsory to do Masters degree or certification?
—Brijesh Seth

Please note that IT is a dynamic field which requires continuous updation with the current technologies. Having a master’s degree and certification programs would help you in the long run and obtaining a certification is a proof of your proficiency on that technology or concept.

I am in 12th science now, and I have now realized that I have interest in pursuing science at all. What should I do after 12th?
 —Shahnawaz

There are options in the field of Designing, Management, Computers, Social Work, Media, Law, Commerce, Arts and so on. Choose the one that suits you the best. Some of the courses might require you to have entrance exams as well. Recognize your interest, potential/abilities, strengths, weakness so that you get more clarity over your confusion by undergoing Psychometric Assessments to chalk out your career path.

Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 20)It is advisable to continue in your present work even if things move slowly. You may feel restless and uneasy but remain calm. Your benefits come from those close to you. You will find that you will do well with consistent hard work. Try not to get upset by delays. In marital relationships keep calm for there could be a clash of opinion over minor issues. Stay away from parties or outings.
