After completing Bachelor’s Degree you can take the entrance exam and opt for a 2 year full time Management course in HR or opt for a 1 year P.G Diploma. There are various short term Diploma courses also available which range from 6 months to one year. With a 2 – 3 years work experience, you also have the opportunity to take a part time 3 year course. Choose the path depending on the time and priority and preparedness to appear for the selection procedure.

Hello, my friend’s technical skills are good but he can’t afford to get into Engineering as the fees are too high, what are the various option in technical areas and where can he pursue it?
—Aravind More

There are various technical options one can pursue like that of Electrician, Wireman, Motor Machinist, Turner, Welder, Fitter etc. These courses are available in Government recognised institutes like ITI (Industrial Training Institute)/ MSBTE (Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education). The fees structure is quite nominal and these are available after 10th /12th/Graduation. After the course students are given Apprenticeship where even stipend is given to students while they are still taking the training.

Please suggest technical side, I am currently in 10th standard SSC board. What re my options?
—Shubham Srivastav

One can enter technical areas by doing either Diploma in Engineering or through ITI (Technical /Engineering Trades) after 10th. For Degree courses in Engineering one needs to be from Science Stream with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. For Degree courses one will have to clear entrance exam (JEE Mains/CET/Autonomous Exam)
