Check It Out: Health Lifescapes Of Migrant Communities

Mumbai Mobile Crèches, an NGO that has been looking after the health of the children of construction site workers, has come up with a unique exhibition. Guardians to the invisible children of the city, they are holding the first ever health exhibition, Health Lifescapes of Migrant Communities at Dadar. Through the exhibition, the NGO aims to create awareness about the migrant workers community, and it will highlight issues faced by these children. The art work draws inspiration from topics such as environment (hygiene and sanitation), community participation, hand-washing, nutrition, immunization and pregnant women. Activities such as traditional board games to health games, folk songs with health related lyrics and narration have been planned as well.

When: November 7 & 11, from 10am to 5pm
