Candy chic

Saturday, December 02, 2017

Red and white wine sangria were in full flow along with pizzas and hors d’oeuvres at the Candy Crush jewellery launch, hosted by designer Mrinalini Chandra and Dream Theatre, at Olive Bar & Kitchen. Guests like Esha Gupta, Sayani Gupta, Sapna Pabbi, Kritika Kamra, Additi Gupta, Kubra Sait, Shaheen and Roshan Abbas and Jiggy George, founder and CEO of Dream Theatre were there, having a good look at Mrinalini’s jewellery collection comprising necklaces, choker necklaces, rings, cuff bracelets, earrings, charm necklaces, charm bracelets and brooch pins among others, all inspired by the deliciously sweet world of Candy Crush. The range comprised handcrafted pieces inspired by the Candy Crush game with a quirky but chic aesthetic. It incorporated traditional craft techniques of Meenakari and Jaali from India infused with modern design aesthetics. Launching in the festive season, it was felt that this chic range has something to offer to every candy lover.
