Happy faces were seen as The Happy High curated yet another gourmet evening with the ‘Make in India’ dinner at The Leela. It was an evening of award-winning malts from the House of Paul John with fabulous food from the kitchen of Jamavar curated by chef Surender Mohan and orchestrated in symphony by The Happy High’s Ajit Balgi. Guests enjoyed Paul John Brilliance, a non-peat version paired with delicious haleem, the peaty Paul John Bold with smoked dhungar dal with paneer lababdar and dum ka murg and Paul John Edited with chocolate kulfi with whisky and callebaut sauce. You learnt that Paul John, a whisky made in Goa, has been winning accolades in leading world forums and is available in over 20 countries. It launched in Mumbai late last year and is wooing the city with three offerings: Brilliance, Edited and Bold, all rated over 94 in the Whisky Bible.
