Vanishing Point – that’s what acclaimed artist Brinda Miller titled her exhibition that she previewed at Tao art gallery. The talk was that this solo show was a manifestation of her art imitating herself. Viewing it all were the likes of Sangita Jindal, Dolly Thakore, Seema and Jaideep Mehrotra, Juhi Babar Soni, Maneck Davar, Sujata Bajaj, Satish Mathur, Monica Vaziralli, Nayanaa Kanodia, Saryu Doshi, Nisha Jamvwal, Kahini Arte-Merchant, Pravina Mecklai, Naaz and Remu Javeri, Homring and Vikram Bawa, Sunil Padwal and Sanjay Puri among many more. Yes, it looked like the entire art community of the city had flocked to the art gallery in Worli to celebrate Brinda Miller’s show. Her husband, the well-known architect Alfaz Miller, was there in his role of gracious host. Of course, Tao art gallery owner Kalpana Shah was also present to meet and greet the many guests on preview evening.
