Health and wellness was in the air at the Maharashtra Health & Wellness Tourism Conference (MHWTC) organised by Pandoza Solutions at Taj Lands End. What you witnessed were professional opportunities for marketing, business development and networking. Jaykumar Rawal, Minister of Tourism, Employment Guarantee Scheme, Government of Maharashtra, did the inaugural honours along with Dr. Ramakant Panda, Jainaba Jague, Ambassador designate of Gambia, Dr. Malvika Khadke, director, Pandoza Solutions, Dr. Anil Bankar and Rekha Chaudhary. You heard that the government had identified two 100 acre plots near Igatpuri that would be turned into medical tourism hubs. The talk was on the first genuine effort to promote Maharashtra as a leading medical and wellness tourism destination. This one-of-a-kind event saw participation of leading hospitals like Reliance, Hinduja, Asian Heart Hospital, Kokilaben, S H Raheja, Saifee and Sancheti among others.
