Actor Shaleen Malhotra, from TV series Arjun, shares his fitness mantra with Rohit Pramar

How do you stay fit?
I eat healthy and sleep right.

What’s your ideal workout?
Something that focuses on one body part and core muscles.

What does your diet include?
Breakfast includes boiled eggs, muesli with skim milk and coconut water, with four boiled eggs two hours later. Lunch is half a grilled chicken with salad and a protein shake and I eat boiled eggs two hours later. Dinner is salad, soup, protein shake and coconut water.

Is there anything you avoid eating?
I avoid sweets.

What is the best advice you’ve gotten?
Never overdo anything. Know your body before you put pressure on yourself.

When are you happiest?
When I’m in my bed or with my parents.

How do you de-stress yourself?
A session of kickboxing, a good long drive or hanging out with my friends.

What are your tips for a happy life?
Try to be content. Be happy with what you have and thank God for it.

Who do you think the fittest actors are?
Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akthar, Priyanka Chopra, Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta.

What’s in your workout bag right now?
Gloves, track, t-shirt and protein shake.

Your current workout playlist?
I like silence when I am working out, I even switch the fans off.
