Here are some thin-person strategies that you can apply to keep your weight in check:
Don’t skip breakfast Research has shown that thin-people start their day with a full breakfast. And people who started eating proper breakfast kept weight-gain at bay. So, if you want to lose those extra kilos start eating a good breakfast which contains good amount of protein and carbohydrates.
Get active Whether it is washing dishes or running to catch a bus, thin people have the tendency to move faster. So, get more active. You don’t have to spend hours at the gym, all you need to do is break up your exercise routine. Even 10 minutes at a time is sufficient. So, in between your work, take out 10 minutes every hour to stretch, walk or climb stairs.
Take water break before lunch Skip your soda and other sugary drinks for a glass of water. Water helps in filling you up and spares you the calorie intake from soda. Drinking water before lunch and throughout the day will help in weight loss and make you feel good too.
Opt for fibrous food When hunger strikes, opt for food which is high in fiber such as apple or almonds. Also, keep a check on what you’re eating, does your food only contain sugar or does it even have antioxidants and other essential nutrients. So, when you’re snacking think about the quality of calories.
Follow your instincts A thin person eats when he/ she is hungry and not out of habit. So, next time if you find yourself walking towards food, ask yourself if you really are hungry or just need a stress-reducing activity.
Walk after dinner If you observe a thin person, you will notice how active they are. People who walk at least 60 minutes a day are less likely to gain weight.
