Sridevi, shining star in death too
There is nothing more heartbreaking than losing someone you look up to a lot. Sridevi was the magic that made us believe in the beauty of cinema. She came, saw and conquered the South Indian cinema world and then entered Bollywood with name and fame and  is the first lady super star in the Hindi filmi world. She was one of those actresses who got paid more than her male co-stars, many times over as she defined  women power and ultimate stardom in her long and illustrious career. We are all immensely saddened by her untimely demise. She was a veteran of the film industry, whose long career included diverse roles and memorable performances. As a child artist she entered the field at 4 and lasted for 50 years with exquisite performances in her life time. Sridevi – a powerhouse of acting, a long journey embellished with success comes to a sudden end.

Mom Sridevi top of the world
The best actress from down South, Sridevi a woman of great talent and splendidly passionate in her work in all movies starting as a child artiste who played every role effectively that was given to her including Tamil movie Moonrampirai and Shahap Rojagal with actor Kamalahasan which was a super hit of its  time. She made movies which could be watched by entire familes. Sridevi acted in Hindi movies, her first was Solva Savan. She acted with Jeetendra in Himatwala and Tohfa with Rishi Kapöor in Chandni, with Anil Kapoor in Lamhe. The movies proved to be great hits, she was a great dancer too and acted with Amitabh Bachchan too, the No 1 actor of Bolływöod. Don  had high regard for Sridevi and appreciated her performances in all her movies. Lady Amitabh Bachchan reserved the highest praise for her even as her acting in  Chaalbaaz was divine. English Vinglish in 2012 was her return movie after a long hiatus.  In 2017 Mom was a negative role which was well appreciated by moviegoers who loved the performance and the movie was a hit. Born on 13th August 1963, she was a star born to excel  her movies and had the support of major filmmakers like S Balchander, a Tamilian who was responsible for training.  Kamalahasan was very strict with her and taught her acting and also dancing in movies. Dance Director Saroj Khan adored her and their chemistry of a teachsr and student was a great thing to happen. Sridevi presented her teacher a Diamond necklace as appreciation and loved her Mom very much. Her mother would decide the movies she should act in and charged a high fee from filmmakers. Mithun Chakraborty had high regard for her simplicity in acting as she gave her one hundred percent to her roles which turned super movies for her. Along with fame came  money but she was down to earth till the  end.Her daughters Jhanvi and Khushi will miss her the most  and a vacuum has been created due to her absence from the world and a hard time for her family and friends to live without her. Mom Sridevi was top of the world for every one, for she worked all her life with dedication  and she is a legend not to be easily forgotten. Met her in 1994 at Nataraj Studios where she was acting in a movie with Anil Kapoor in Ladla. The actress was a heart throb with her Chandni songs Mere Haathon mein nau nau chudiyan hain and Wai Wai Song, a super hit of those times. None could match her in her prime. Illayaraja, the musician admired her for her acting and being a wonderful human being who loved to meet people. God bless and may her soul rest in peace.

The glittering world of cinema loses its brightest star!
The glittering world of cinema & entertainment  lost its brightest star in the death of Sridevi. The entire country is stunned by her death & 54-years is too young to bid good bye to the world. Sridevi was an iconic actress who worked in regional cinema in many languages before she established herself in Bollywood where she was considered as the 'Queen of Hearts'.

A professional actress par excellence, Sridevi worked in over 300 films as lead heroine in her short span which itself must be a sort of a memorable record. Beautiful & gorgeous both in looks as well as soul, Sridevi will be remembered by one & all for decades to come. Chandni, Mom, Mr. India, Gurudev & the list is endless of her films, she made her mark in the industry which today feels orphaned at her sudden demise as everybody struggles to digest the news of her death which is shocking. R.I.P Sridevi. May her soul Rest In Peace!-

A massive loss
Sridevi's death at the age of 54 is a huge loss for the entire film industry.  She worked not only in Hindi cinema, but also in Kannada,  Tamil and Telugu movies. Her films were a big hit and were a part of my childhood.  She was one of India's biggest film stars. We will miss her a lot. May God give her husband Bonny and her daughters,  Jahnavi and Kushi the strength to continue life in the days to come. May her soul rest in peace.
