Change of names seems dicey

While browsing through the pages of some leading newspapers, I always make it a point to read the ‘Change of Names’ columns. What has perplexed me is that a substantial number of these people opting for name change belong to a particular community only! A more intriguing matter is that some of them have invariably figured in the suspects’ list of the police for their involvement in duplicate passport and multiple SIM card rackets. Is there any quid pro quo between the two?
