Two more drowning deaths have been reported recently, this time in Bhayandar Creek. This is a case of negligence and it is time for retrospection over lifeguards operating within the city waters. Drowning incidents have shaken the city and neighbourhood. This is happening for some time during weekends and holidays. Many deaths have occurred inside water and is cause for worry all the time for parents sending their children outside for an outing. Rainy season is not the ideal time to swim or play in the sea as the high tide may drag you inside the water and water level in ponds, pools and creek will be more than normal during monsoon season. Unless there are lifeguards and the required lifesaving devices, in the troubled waters permission should not be given to swim in the deep.
