Now that the BMC elections are over, the Shiv Sena along with the state government should make Mumbai a better place to live. For this they have to solve the following problems.
For all its wealth and its ability to produce and consume, Mumbai has no money for basic infrastructure. Its roads are pitiable condition. After filling the potholes all the streets come back to their original form!
Footpaths are encroached by shops, urchins, etc. with no place for citizens to walk on. The airport is surrounded by slums and the infrastructure of airports is in pits. One can see garbage littered around and no one to clean the area. The facilities and security are pathetic.
Let the winning party take the first step towards glory. That’d be a good start.
