We love biting into delicious fruits — they’re healthy and add only a few calories to your daily diet. But, did you know that there’s more to a fruit than just the pulp or juice? The oils in fruits have several healing properties and are gaining popularity in the field of skincare. The best part is that oils made from these natural ingredients have no side effects on your skin, only beneficial properties. So, whether you have dry, sensitive or oily skin, we tell you what fruit oils will work best for you.

Dealing with acne or oily skin
You’ve been cooling off with slices of watermelon as the temperatures soar, but did you know that oil made from watermelon seeds can benefit your skin. Watermelon seed oil is non-greasy and will leave your skin hydrated as it soothes irritation and breakouts. You can also use passion fruit oil, which has anti-inflammatory properties that help to fight redness and prevent blemishes.

Dealing with dry skin
Rich in vitamin C, blackberry seed oil brightens your skin, leaving it with a soft glow. The best cure for dry skin is cranberry seed oil, which is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and helps to lock in moisture, keeping your skin hydrated. Acai berry oil is perfect for the summer as it protects your skin against UV damage.

Dealing with sensitive skin
If you have sensitive skin, using pomegranate seed oil helps to soothe and hydrate your skin, without leaving it greasy. You could also use red raspberry oil, which helps to calm inflammation and has UV protection properties as well.
