A showcase highlighting the contemporary design movement

Art and rugs are such integral parts of home décor. Cocoon Fine Rugs in association with Heaven & Home presents Contemporary Musings & Beyond, a showcase highlighting the contemporary design movement by talented young art photographers Sahil Mane and Salamat Husain, and fine artists Puja Vaish and Harsheet Thukral.

Welcoming two aesthetic and integral parts of home décor together, the various works of these artists and photographers have been paired with Cocoon’s carpets in such a way that they complement each other’s design sensibilities.

The intricacies in design and art are highlighted in this creative blend of urbane aesthetics.

Through this fortnight-long show, Owner and Designer of Cocoon Fine Rugs, Ayush Choudhary and Co-Founder of Heaven & Home, Tara* Kaushal attempt to bring contemporary art in to focus.

This unique exhibit of modern and contemporary design was open to art aficionados till the 27th of April 2012, at the Cocoon Fine Rugs gallery in Worli, where they witnessed and celebrated contemporary art via an individualistic interior set up.

Alongside the paired collections, Cocoon displayed some of its most celebrated and exquisite carpets from its signature collections—Urbane, Vintage Revival, Colors of Life and many more—at the store.
