What is the gist of this telly show ‘Byah Hamari Bahu ka’?

Which family is highlighted in the show?
This interesting and never-seen-before story is that of a Gujarati Vaishnav family set in present day Gujarat, in the quaint city of Vadodara. All is well in the Vaishnav family.
What comes as a surprise then is: why is the Vaishnav family all set to get their Bahoo Rajni, remarried. The usual been-there-done-that answers have all been put to rest already. No! Rajni’s husband Krish is not suffering from any terminal disease, nor is he having an extra marital affair, and yes it was a love marriage. So then the question remains, ‘Phir Kyun Ho Raha Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka’.

Produced by Hatsoff Production and J.D. Majethia and written by Aatish Kapadia, the show boasts of a strong ensemble cast which includes Gaurav Khanna as Krish, supported by Benaf as Paulomi – Krish’s best friend and confidante. Noted actress Falguni Desai plays the adorable Baa, with Pawan Chopra as Vrajlal, the father in law and Prathiksha Lonkar as Yashoda, the mother-in-law.
Tell us something about your character in the show.
I play a 22-year-old girl called Rajni who is 22 years old, extremely pretty and strikingly beautiful girl. Her innocence is her best quality and everyone loves her for that. She is naïve, soft-spoken and a gentle being. Also, she is a simple girl and very down to earth. She hails from a humble family and works with a marriage coordinators’ agency. She is the perfect daughter-in-law and takes care of the family with a lot of love and affection. She loves watching movies on television during her leisure time.
Is it a regular ‘saas bahu’ show?
No. It’s radically different and the ‘saas bahus’ share a cordial relationship in the show. This is one show that will definitely grab the attention of the viewers in the prime time band at 8 pm!
