Fire Bird – that’s what Sanchita Ajjampur called her show presented by Blenders Pride at LFW. Butterfly cutouts hung from the ceiling and the backdrop was a mythical garden. It was the look of the ‘50’s and the ‘60’s for the women’s wear with fabrics ranging from jacquard to gold wash lace, georgette, sheer chiffon and crepe. Lavender, green, blush, nude, lemon and metallic tones were the colours. Catching the eye was the rhinestone bikini and crystal one-shoulder swimsuit.
