After a long wait to travel to India, Oprah Winfrey finally gets her wish fulfilled. On her maiden visit to India, she explores its intriguing culture and distinct mix of traditions and modernity that co-exist in this country. She captures her experience of real India in a two-part series OPRAH’S NEXT CHAPTER. The series takes her through the slums of Mumbai. She is also invited to a party hosted by industrialist Parmeshwar and Adi Godrej and is pleasantly surprised by the grandeur of the night which has celebrated guests from Mumbai’s glitterati and Bollywood. On her way to the party, Oprah halts to meet leading Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai and the Bachchan family. She also reveals her favourite fit as she is draped in a traditional saree designed by a leading designer Tarun Tahiliani. Discovery, 10 p.m.

With these questions HISTORY TV18 & CNN IBN plan to trigger a national debate through a path breaking initiative called “The Greatest Indian” .The show format is based on a ground breaking series featured on BBC called ‘The Greatest Briton’. Launched in 2002 in the UK, the initiative reached out to millions of viewers and broke significant viewership records there.
