Dear Grace,
My husband keeps buying me clothes that are two sizes too small! He seems genuinely confused when he keeps getting it wrong but I think it might be a hint that he wants me to lose weight!
— Ashita Naik, Andheri
Dear Ashita,
Most women are wearing the wrong bra size so cut the guy some slack when he doesn’t get your size right. However, it must be frustrating for you. But, look on the bright side, your husband actually shops for you on a regular basis. So, write down your dress, pant, bra and shirt size, stick it in your cupboard and let your husband know it’s there if he decides to go shopping.
Dear Grace,
I’m dating a really nice guy but at this point I don’t know if I want to take things any further or not. We’re having a lot of fun and enjoy each others company but it makes me uncomfortable that his friends are assuming we’re an “item.” Should I clear it up or just let it be?
— Nayanika D’Sa, Malad
Dear Nayanika,
If you’re dating someone, people will see you’ll hanging out together and assume you’ll are an “item.” People talk and frankly, there’s nothing you can do to stop them from assuming these things, except stop dating. So, unless someone asks you directly, you don’t need to go out of your way to clear things up. And if he’s as nice as he seems to be, count yourself lucky that you might not need to explain that you’ll aren’t an item in the future.
