Dear Grace,
My husband recently joined a new company and his co-worker is my ex-boyfriend! The worst part is that they have now become best work buddies and often meet up after work. My husband jokes that they swap stories about me. I find this absolutely horrifying. It’s getting way out of hand now. How do I make it stop?

Dear Tarana,
Well, at least your husband is acting mature (mostly!) about working with your ex-boyfriend. Just imagine if he was the jealous kind. There is nothing wrong with them being friends (we’re going to skip the joke about how they must have a lot in common!) but I feel you should tell your husband that he should draw the line at personal stories. Also, avoid telling your husband he cannot meet up with him. Since they work at the same company it’s likely they have much more to talk about than your acne in high school! However, even if they do share a few tidbits, don’t get worked up and just laugh it off. Your husband will feel bad for your ex and feel lucky that he married such a cool girl.
