I’ve been going out with my boyfriend for three years and we meet daily. He’s great and I love spending time with him but it really irritates me that he never texts me back when I send him romantic messages. But, he is quite verbal and loving in person. Should I get worried?

No… you should not get worried as there is nothing to worry about! Most men are generally terrible at expressing their emotions, especially in written word! He may feel incompetent when it comes to expressing his feelings, especially if you are good at it. However, if your man is loving in person, isn’t that ten times better than an indirect SMS? Also, most men find the tiny phone keypad hard to navigate so his lack of messaging could just be a technical issue. Enjoy your relationship and be happy that your man manages to at least express his feelings in person.
