Event Proud Fathers For Daughters
Dev Goswami talk about Proud Fathers for Daughters, a photography event for a cause
Ace photographer Atul Kasbekar, Jaideep Oberoi and Colston Julian are coming together at the 2nd edition of Nanhi Kali’s Proud Father for Daughters. Nanhi Kali is an NGO that aims to provide primary education to underprivileged girls in India. This event will feature the three photographers capturing a precious father-daughter moment. The participation fee for the event is `5,000 and all proceeds will be donated to Project Nanhi Kali. And it is not just you who will be participating in the event — celebrities such as Anil Kapoor and his daughter Sonam Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and his daughter Ridhima Kapoor, Javed Akhtar and his daughter Zoya Akhtar, Sachin Tendulkar and his daughter Sara Tendulkar, and Alyque Padamsee and his daughters Raell and Shazahn Padamsee have lent support to this initiative as well. Sheetal Mehta, trustee and executive director of the K.C. Mahindra Education Trust, which initiated Project Nanhi Kali, tells us, “At the first edition, Atul Kasbekar and Daboo Ratnani captured the special bond between almost a hundred father-daughter pairs, helping fund the education of nearly 250 underprivileged girls. This year, we are really grateful to Atul Kasbekar, Colston Julian and Jaideep Oberoi for their support, and we look forward to an even stronger response.”
