Dr. Rati Godrej (General Practitioner) received her medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine and is an American Board of Internal Medicine certified physician. Her career highlights include 20 years as a consultant for the American Consulate medical unit in Mumbai till 2014 and being a founding board trustee of the Godrej Memorial Hospital till 2009. Her current interests lie in public health. She sits on the board of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health India Center. She focuses on tobacco control in India, public safety standards and decreasing the prevalence of chronic diseases (eg. Diabetes, heart disease etc.) Her Indian philanthropic duties include being a trustee for the FRCH (Foundation for Research in Community Health) and the Framjee Cawasjee Trust (providing scholarship support for young Parsis). Her International philanthropic commitments consist of being on the Knight Hennessy Global Scholarships committee and the Stanford Medical School global committee on Innovations in Precision Health and Diagnostics.
Her hobbies include yoga, swimming and travel.
