This was a quiet seaface, bay-shaped like marine Drive but much smaller, drab, but charmingly so. Then came the Sealink and the vista changed dramatically as the Seaface became a major road for those using the Sealink. The improvements have flooded in but ask residents whether they approve and chances are you’ll get your head taken off! Noisy, polluted and dangerous arr the commonest criticisms. Oh well, you have to pay a price for progress.
