After the success of ‘Gadhavancha Lagnn; and ‘Baburao Mastani’ now the super-hit musical laavni play ‘Malaa Ek Chanach Havaa' will open on stage.
The trend of musical plays was evident along with folk dramas in Maharashtra a few years back. Along with tamashas people used to enjoy folk dramas as well, Dada Kondke’s classic ‘Viccha Majhi Puri Kara’, Dada Indulikar’s ‘Gadhavache Lagnn’ gave a sense of authority for this genre.
The play ‘Baburao Mastani’ was nominated for the Zee Comedy Plays awards and Gadhavache Lagnn play has reached the nook and corners of Maharashtra and now with ‘Malaa Ek Chanach Havaa’ they are sure to entertain more audiences.
Popular artiste in films and stage and television Ramesh Wani is venturing on stage after a long time. The play written by Rajesh Kolabkar and directed by Sanjay-ji Kasbekar. Riveting songs, and laavni based dances are the USP of this play. Santosh Bhangre is the choreographer of these dances.
Produced by Charusheela Thosar and along with Ramesh Wani is award-winning actor Sachin Madhav in lead role.Anil Shinde and Sachin Valanju are also a part of this play as actors. The danseuse in laavni dances is beautiful, agile newcomer actress-dancer Shweta Pawar who will play Manjula in the spectacular play ‘Malaa Ek Chanach Havaa’ which opens on 17th June.
