Makarand Deshpande is all set to make a comeback this year, in Mukesh Jadhav’s psychological thriller, in yet another challenging role. Usually seen in comic roles, in this movie, Makarand plays the challenging role of a mute spectator to all the kaleidoscopic revelations of passion, deceit, revenge and misery that take place, and is put in very complicated situations because of his condition.

The movie is based on a woman’s sensitive exploration of the darker aspects of female desire. It is a beautiful yet tragic portrait of a woman who is determined to claim her rights, but ends up creating her own entrapment. Director Mukesh Jadhav has brought together a very interesting star cast, that includes Shreyas Talpade, Rahul Dev, Malkhan and Australian newbies; Zenia Starr and Nicholas Brown, apart from the actor. He reveals, “My character, Jahan, is a mentally challenged character. I have never played a character like this, it is intense and loving. Working with Shreyas and Rahul has been a fantastic experience.”
